Emergency Drills Scheduled Today
The Ventura County Fire Department has recruited young volunteers from around the county to aid in a training session today that will simulate large emergency crisis situations.
Volunteers from Thousand Oaks High School, Girl Scouts and Cal Lutheran University will meet with emergency personnel to perform drills at Cal Lutheran in Thousand Oaks.
The drills will portray a large number of people injured and trapped due to a plane crash, structure collapse or natural disaster.
