Reno Air to Add Five Daily Round Trips to San Jose and Two to Reno
SANTA ANA — Discount airline Reno Air Inc. will double its Orange County schedule with the April 4 addition of five daily round trips to San Jose and two to Reno.
The flights were awarded by the Orange County Board of Supervisors as part of an annual allocation of takeoff and landing rights under the airport’s strict noise controls. Reno Air obtained the extra flights because it will be using a so-called quiet, or stage 3, jet that is exempt from noise-based flight limits.
Under the new schedule, Reno Air will provide 11 daily round trips to San Jose and three to Reno/Lake Tahoe.
