UCLA Rallies From 17-Point Deficit

Reserve Aisha Veasley had a career-high 18 points and eight rebounds and Nickey Hilbert also scored 18 points Saturday as UCLA rallied from a late 17-point deficit to defeat Arizona, 89-85, in overtime at Pauley Pavilion.
Arizona, 12-2 overall and 3-2 in the Pac-10, extended its lead to 70-53 on a jump shot by DeAngela Minter with 3:12 remaining in the second half before UCLA (9-6, 4-2) stormed back, forcing six turnovers in the final three minutes while outscoring the Wildcats, 22-5, to make the score 75-75 and force overtime.
Veasley and Zrinka Kristich scored four points each for UCLA during overtime, when the Bruins outscored the Wildcats, 14-10.
USC 73, Arizona State 61--Tina Thompson led all scorers with 22 points as the Trojans defeated the Sun Devils at USC’s Lyon Center.
Mistakes plagued both teams as USC (7-8, 2-4) gave up the ball 25 times and forced Arizona State (4-9, 0-5) into 32 turnovers.
