Now It’s Cybertrade: Keeping up with the latest global economic trends or locating business partners thousands of miles away can be daunting. But small- and medium-size companies now have another route--the Internet-through which to hook up with international customers and suppliers and cultivate relationships overseas. The Japan America Society of Southern California, the Greater Los Angeles World Trade Center Assn. and MCI Telecommunications Corp. are hosting a seminar this Thursday to provide businesses with a step-by-step orientation on using the information superhighway. The seminar runs from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Conference Center at One World Trade Center, Suite 298, in Long Beach. The cost is $40 and includes a continental breakfast. RSVP by Tuesday at (213) 627-6217, Ext. 17.
