Boy, 15, Shot, Killed at Burger Stand
An early morning dispute among men hanging out at a Tommy’s Burger stand in North Hills left one teenager dead and another wounded, police said Sunday.
The unidentified 15-year-old was fatally shot in the chest about 3 a.m. Sunday in front of the burger stand near Roscoe Boulevard and Haskell Avenue, said Los Angeles Police Sgt. Martin Bertsch.
Bertsch said a dispute between the teenager and another group of men turned deadly when, during a fight, an unidentified man pulled out a gun and shot the boy.
A 19-year-old man, also unidentified, was stabbed in the chest. Both were taken to Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills. Police said the 19-year-old was initially listed in serious condition.
