Shine, from El Modena High, is having a record-setting season for Orange Coast. She already holds the college’s all-time rebounding mark. She has 599 and has at least eight games left to add to her total. Shine had a personal high last Wednesday when she scored 35 points in an 88-65 victory over Irvine Valley. She came back to get 15 in a 78-52 victory over Rancho Santiago Friday. Shine has 922 points and needs 29 more to move into fifth place on OCC’s all-time list.
