Newcomb Staying
Antelope Valley High football Coach Brent Newcomb, who has led the Antelopes to the Southern Section Division II final the past two seasons, has decided to stay.
He considered resigning after a 12-2 season and a 35-28 loss to Hart in the final.
“A real good friend of mine said, ‘If you like what you’re doing, don’t give it up,’ ” Newcomb said.
