TUSTIN — As part of a continuing consolidation, Apria Healthcare Group Inc. has signed a $6-million lease for more than 87,300 square feet of space in a Tustin building.
The company, formed by the merger last summer of Abbey Healthcare Group Inc. in Costa Mesa and Homedco Group Inc. in Fountain Valley, will consolidate several offices and bring 190 workers into the two-story building. Apria, a home health-care provider, has 350 locations across the country.
The building at 2521 Michelle Ave., near the Santa Ana Freeway, will be Apria’s largest regional sales, service and distribution center on the West Coast. Apria plans to occupy the building in March.
The two-story building, which has been empty since 1993, was formerly occupied by Aerojet. The owner, Los Angeles-based Watson Land Co., is still looking for tenants for the top floor.
