City officials are seeking applicants for two vacancies on the Development Committee, a citizens advisory group for the City Council.
The committee reviews designs of proposed subdivisions and commercial developments. The committee meets on the second Monday of every other month at 7:30 p.m. in City Council chambers.
City Clerk Brigitte Charles said applicants must be residents of the city who have “an active interest in city development.”
She said other desirable qualifications are “an ability to read landscaping plans, building plans and working drawings and some knowledge of municipal government functions and processes.”
