Central Los Angeles : MARCH IMAGES
Slides of last year’s Million Man March in Washington taken by five local African American photographers were shown Wednesday at the Black Gallery in the Crenshaw district.
The photographers represented at the audio-visual exhibition are Frank Jackson, Malcolm Payne, Michael Riddick, Lester Sloan and Bruce Talamon.
The Black Gallery showcases photography, said assistant director Maxie Floyd, and sponsors monthly round table discussions where professional, amateur and student photographers gather to discuss their craft.
