Arcadia’s Corrine Roberge, a three-time All-Southern Section sweeper, scored the only goal to give the Apaches a 1-0 girls’ soccer victory over Redlands last Saturday and secure a top-seeded berth in the Division II playoffs. Arcadia is 20-2-6 and will play host to Santa Barbara on Saturday. . . . The La Canada boys’ soccer team is 20-0, top-seeded in Division IV and will play host to the winner of the Workman-Azusa wild-card game on Friday. . . . La Canada Coach Louis Bilowitz had seven football players who signed Division I college scholarships last week: Jason Cropley (Maryland), Chris Sawicki (California), Chap Early (California), Josh Sweeney (Nevada Las Vegas), Gaston Haupert (Duke), Nick Paneno (UCLA) and Derrick Dyslin (Richmond).
