Softball/Shortstop
Saindon, from Cypress High, is one of the top community college softball players in the nation. She spent the summer playing for the U.S. Junior World team. Saindon hit four home runs and was 11 for 19 in six games last week for Cypress (8-4), which finished second in its own tournament. Her power outburst came Saturday, when she hit two home runs against Citrus and two more against College of the Sequoias.
