L.A. Arts Groups Are Grant Recipients

Five local arts groups have each been awarded $48,000 grants from the County of Los Angeles Music and Performing Arts Commission and the City of L.A. Cultural Affairs Department.
The 1996 grants, fourth-year installments of the Arts Organization Stabilization Initiative, also include 150 hours in technical assistance to each organization.
The grantees are the Bilingual Foundation of the Arts, East West Players, Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions, Plaza de la Raza and Lula Washington Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Theatre.
