CBS Picks VP for New Ventures, Development

Derk Zimmerman has been named to the newly created position of senior vice president of new ventures and business development at CBS. Zimmerman, formerly president of Group W Productions, will work with the CBS operating division to find programming opportunities for the company in the domestic and foreign markets.
* Pamela Postrel has been named vice president of creative advertising at Universal Pictures.
* Joanna Johnson has been named to the newly created position of executive vice president of international for the Motion Picture Group of Parmount Pictures.
* Chris Gorog has been named president of new business development for Universal Studios Recreation Group.
* Stephen Juge has been appointed senior vice president and European legal counsel for Walt Disney (Europe).
* Roy A. Wright has been elected co-chairman of the board of Iwerks Entertainment. Wright has been president and chief executive of the company since July.
