FULLERTON — A woman was found shot to death Friday night, after her home was apparently ransacked and set on fire.
Firefighters found the body about 10:16 p.m. when they arrived at the house in the 200 block of W. Knepp Ave., Fullerton Police Lt. Tony Hernandez said.
It was unclear late Friday whether the woman was found inside or outside the house, and her name was not immediately available.
Police said they believe the house was ransacked and then set ablaze. No one else was injured nor in the home.
“It doesn’t appear the house was badly burned,” Hernandez said.
