Man Dies a Day After Motorcycle Collision
ANAHEIM — A 52-year-old Anaheim man died Wednesday from injuries he suffered in a motorcycle accident a day earlier, police said.
Richard Wesley Cromwell was traveling west on Katella Avenue about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday when he collided with a van turning onto Walnut Street, police said.
Cromwell and a passenger were both thrown from the bike, and Cromwell ended up underneath the motorcycle with head and chest injuries, police said.
The passenger suffered only minor injuries. The driver of the van, also from Anaheim, was unhurt, police said.
Cromwell was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he died Wednesday morning, police said.
The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Investigator Rick Alexander at the Anaheim Police Department, (714) 254-1861.
