Basketball star Shaquille O’Neal has signed a deal with a solid L.A. outfit--not the Lakers for basketball, but a joint venture with Trauma Records (the home of Bush and No Doubt) as a rapper and executive. O’Neal’s Twism label will launch the deal with a debut album by a teenage sister trio called S.H.E. in August, followed in September by a new Shaq release featuring such guest stars as Biggie Smalls and Salt-N-Pepa. . . .
A live KISS CD combining highlights of three past live releases plus four previously unreleased tracks will feature a surprise guest: Jay Leno, a longtime fan whose Q&A; session with the band will be a bonus track on the release. . . .
