Olympic champion Linford Christie won his 100-meter heat in an ordinary time of 10.32 seconds in the British Olympic trials at Birmingham, England, but stayed silent about whether he will defend his title at the Games.
Some reports suggest Christie, who many expect to run, will announce his plans after today’s final, with others saying the final word won’t come until the team is announced next week.
