Dallas Wins in a Shootout

Hugo Sanchez scored the tying goal and Dallas made all four of its shootout attempts to defeat the Colorado Rapids, 4-2, Saturday night before 9,704 at Dallas.
Brian Haynes, Lawrence Lozzano, Chad Ashton and Mark Santel scored for Dallas (8-5) in the shootout. Colorado is 4-8.
New England 2, Kansas City 1--Paul Keegan scored the Revolution’s goal in regulation and then added the winner in a shootout before 21,407 at Foxboro, Mass.
Welton gave New England (5-5) the advantage in the shootout before Preki, who scored Kansas City’s goal in regulation, tallied on the third attempt for the Wiz (6-8). But Keegan’s goal on New England’s fifth attempt was the game-winner.
