Items on the council’s agenda include updates on state legislation affecting arts funding in the state budget, the council’s technical assistance program and multicultural arts leadership programs.
Council members will also discuss the agency’s involvement in several state arts initiatives, including the Traditional Folk Arts Program, Artists Fellowship Program, Artists in Residence Program and the California Countryside Festival.
There will be opportunities for public comment at the meeting, which will begin at 10 a.m. at the academy, 5220 Lankershim Blvd.
