Schott Is Just the Tip Of Iceberg in Baseball
Baseball is bewildered.
It is incredible how acting Commissioner Bud Selig can “step up to the plate” and force Marge Schott to relinquish control of the Reds through 1998, but take no action against Albert Belle! The only difference between Marge Schott and each of the other owners is her ignorance! The others display the same feelings and attitudes, they are simply too smart to talk. Albert Belle is someone who is completely against the “best interests of baseball,” but he can hit! If Marge could have 25 home runs by now, she would still be in control of her team. Please fix baseball, Mr. Selig, and deal with those that are a real detriment to the game, even if they can hit, run or throw!
