Feast to Raise Funds for Senior Programs
Gourmet chefs will whip up sumptuous meals Aug. 11 when Conejo Valley Senior Concerns, a nonprofit group that raises money and administers programs for older adults, holds its 11th annual Ultimate Dining Experience.
The $100-a-plate event, which will benefit such popular senior programs as Meals on Wheels, will take place at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza Hotel on Westlake Boulevard.
It will begin at 5 p.m. with cocktails and live and silent auctions featuring tickets to Malaysia and Mexico as well as accommodations.
Chefs Tommaso Barletta of Tuscany Il Ristorante in Westlake, Steve Cayman of the Sherwood Country Club in Hidden Valley, Lisa Stalvey of Bambu in Malibu, Marcell Mustasah of the Spanish Hills Golf Course in Camarillo and Don Catlin of the Hyatt Westlake Plaza will put together the diverse feast.
Baritone John Ross Nelson will be the master of ceremonies. To reserve tickets, call 497-0189 by Monday.
