Navy Specialist Recognized for Innovation

Darrell Gooden, a civilian equipment specialist with the Port Hueneme Division Naval Surface Warfare Center, was recognized by a federal technology magazine for his government service in the field of information technology.

An independent panel of judges from Federal Computer Weekly selected Gooden for developing and managing information technology for the U.S. Navy. In all, the magazine honored 100 executives from government, industry and academia for their impact on government technology systems.
