Forums on Economic Trends Scheduled

The last three public forums on how economic trends are affecting individuals will be held this week at three area libraries.
Tuesday’s meeting on “Pocketbook Pressures: Who Benefits from Economic Growth?” will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Whittier Library’s Whittwood Branch, 10537 Santa Gertrudes Ave.
Forums on the same topic are scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at the Covina Library, 234 N. 2nd Ave., and Thursday at the Alhambra Library, 410 W. Main St.
The public is welcome to participate in the forums, part of the Common Ground series and sponsored by the Metropolitan Cooperative Library System, the Los Angeles County Public Library and the Los Angeles Times.
