Why the Disregard for Natural Cycles?
I think the natural cycles of the economy have a far greater effect on the markets than most people realize. And I hear very little mention of it by the well-known experts and the media.
As Tom Petruno pointed out (“Clinton? Dole? Potato-Potahto When It Comes to Investments,” Sept. 1) we are 5 1/2 years into this economic expansion, which has provided the longest sustained bull market since the 1920s, and we all know how that one ended.
