Glendale’s Harrison Enjoys the Long Run
Running back Rahsaan Harrison rushed for 165 yards in nine carries as Glendale College defeated Harbor, 29-20, Saturday in a Western State Conference interdivisional game at Glendale High.
Harrison scored on a 65-yard run down the right sideline, giving the Vaqueros (2-1) a 29-12 lead in the fourth quarter.
Harbor (0-2) opened the scoring on Tindsley Trawick’s 10-yard pass to Michael Lennox. The Seahawks took a 12-0 lead when Trawick threw a swing pass that Steve Sullivan took 18 yards to the end zone.
Jay Register returned the ensuing kickoff 94 yards to pull Glendale to within 12-6. A five-yard run by Ramone Archie tied the score, 12-12.
Glendale’s Scott Boldvich caught five passes for 108 yards and one touchdown.
