* A basketball clinic for girls in the first through sixth grades will take place from 10 a.m. until noon Nov. 9 in the Cal Lutheran gym. Information: 805-493-3411.
* The inaugural Channel Islands Raiders golf tournament will be held Nov. 11 at Las Posas Country Club in Camarillo. Proceeds go to Channel Islands High athletic programs. Information: 805-385-2768.
* The Poly High girls’ volleyball team and the Gator Girls Club team from Granada Hills each has received 10 new volleyballs from Spalding and the Women’s Sports Foundation.
