Prices of alcoholic beverages in some places could drive you to drink. In a recent survey, countries as diverse as Argentina, Monaco and Kazakhstan all broke the $14 mark. Prices for mixedrinks from other selected places:

Switzerland: $12.42

Singapore: $11.10

Hong Kong. $9.82

France: $9.42

Russia: $9.17

Brazil: $8.40

Germany: $8.24

United States: $5.39

Britain: $4.91

Australia: $4.33

South Africa: $3.03
