DENVER (7-1) at OAKLAND (4-4)
Channel 7, 6 p.m.
The Raiders have found themselves after a wretched start, but can they get over the hump against the surprising Broncos? Denver’s offense ranks No. 1 and its defense No. 3, and the team is not owned by Al Davis: Three unbeatable qualities. The Raider offense surprisingly ranks No. 3 overall running the ball with Napoleon Kaufman and Harvey Williams.
--Say what: The Raiders have hogged the ball an average of 35 minutes a game in last three outings--all victories.
--Player to watch: John Elway has rushed for more than 3,000 yards and thrown for more than 40,000; too bad those don’t equate into frequent flier miles.
--Finally: Raider opponents have moved the ball inside the red zone 21 times and have scored each time--13 via touchdowns, eight by field goal. This is not good.
