Holiday Closings

Monday is Veterans Day. The following schedule will be in effect:
* County, state and federal offices: Closed. Most city offices also will be closed, except in Brea, Garden Grove, Laguna Hills, Los Alamitos, San Clemente and Westminster.
* County, state and federal courthouses: Closed.
* City and county libraries: Closed.
* Banks and savings and loans: Most will be closed. Call for details.
* Schools: Orange County public schools and community colleges will be closed. But UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton and Chapman University will be open.
* Mail: There will be no mail delivery. All post offices will be closed, and mail deposited in mailboxes will be picked up according to the posted holiday schedule.
* Trash: Will remain on regular schedule.
* Buses: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on regular schedule.
* Parks: All city- and county-run parks and recreation facilities will be open during regular hours.
