Gasoline Prices in U.S. Increase Slightly
U.S. gasoline prices rose two-thirds of a cent per gallon at the pump as dealers passed on higher crude oil costs, an analyst said. The average price for all gasoline grades, including taxes, was $1.29 a gallon on Friday, up 0.66 cent over two weeks, according to the Lundberg Survey of 10,000 gas stations nationwide. “Stronger crude oil prices are continuing to work their way through to the pump,” industry analyst Trilby Lundberg said. However, prices varied nationwide, with some East Coast areas reporting increases while the West Coast saw some price drops.
