Conspiracy a Belief to 74%, Poll Finds

The U.S. government is involved in conspiracies according to 74% of Americans, and 2 in 5 think it is covering up information about the TWA jet crash last summer, according to a survey. The random survey of 800 people, summarized in the December issue of George magazine, also showed that more than half of Americans believe there is life on other planets. Asked about their other convictions, 78% said they believed in angels, 29% in witchcraft and 30% in reincarnation. Ten percent believed Elvis Presley was still alive.
