IRVINE — Medical laser producer Premier Laser Systems Inc. said it lost $973,188, or 20 cents a share, for the second fiscal quarter, compared with a net loss of $1.5 million, or 34 cents a share, for the second quarter last year. Sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 increased to $1.2 million from $206,204.
