Angel Fan Urges Team to Pass History Test
Does Angel management ever learn anything from past mistakes? Why don’t they hire a teacher to teach Angel baseball history to management?
Two weeks ago Bill Bavasi traded the best designated hitter in baseball, Chili Davis, for a pitcher who is hurt more than he is healthy. How do the Angels manage every year to find an injured pitcher to pay too much money to who never wins two games for the club? Maybe Bavasi is unaware of the decrease in Tim Salmon’s and Jim Edmond’s effectiveness in the last two years on the occasions that Chili has been out of the lineup.
How many years will it take for Disney to learn the key to baseball attendance is pitching, defense and big bats in the lineup, rather than larger-than-life baseball caps and four-story high yellow animated bats at gate one?
