HIV Consortium Conducting Survey
The Ventura County HIV Care Consortium wants to know the state of care for people in the county with HIV or AIDS as part of its plans to grant more than $100,000 during the next year to various local agencies.
The consortium is looking for people with HIV or AIDS and people or agencies that serve those affected by the disease to complete a needs assessment survey.
According to the consortium, the survey will be anonymous.
The grant funds come from Title II of the Care Act and Housing for People With AIDS.
The advocates, support service providers and community-based organizations that make up the consortium have agreed to use the funds for planning and development and to provide outpatient and support for individuals with HIV or AIDS and their families.
Anyone connected with an agency providing services or people with HIV or AIDS who want to participate in the survey should contact Brenda Tardiff at (805) 389-5978.
