Lt. Gov. Davis to Discuss State’s Future

California Lt. Gov. Gray Davis will discuss the state’s future at a meeting of the Valley Jewish Business Leaders Assn. on Thursday in Woodland Hills.

Davis will talk about the implications of the 1996 election for California during a breakfast meeting at the Warner Center Marriott. His appearance is part of a monthly breakfast forum intended to help educate association members on topical subjects, said Marilyn Bloom, the group’s executive director.

“We don’t take sides when we choose our speakers. We just want to have exciting, dynamic people,” she said.

The fee for the breakfast and lecture is $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers. It will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m., and reservations are recommended, Bloom said. For reservations, call (818) 774-3331.
