Woman Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver
WINNETKA — A 60-year-old woman was killed by a hit-and-run driver Sunday night as she walked across an unmarked crosswalk at the intersection of Sherman Way and Shirley Avenue, police said.
The woman, whose identity was not released, was crossing the street sometime before 6:55 p.m. when she was hit by a gray Oldsmobile sedan traveling at an unknown speed, according to Lt. Brad Kubela of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division. She died at the scene.
Detectives were investigating late Sunday. They had no information on the suspects, Kubela said.
