Papadakis Cleared to Play Next Year

USC running back Petros Papadakis was declared eligible for next season by the Pacific 10 Conference. Papadakis transferred from Cal in the summer of 1995 and ordinarily would have had to sit out two years. But Papadakis and USC appealed, pointing out he had attended only three Cal practices and two classes.
