New Packinghouse Joins Sunkist Growers Co-Op

Sunkist Growers, the big Sherman Oaks-based citrus cooperative, has reached an agreement with a new fruit packinghouse to join its system.

Sunny Cove Citrus Assn. is in Orange Cove in the San Joaquin Valley, and will now market its fruit with Sunkist.

Sunny Cove has 65 grower-members and packs about 1.5 million cartons of oranges a year.
