Two of the area’s best and biggest baseball tournaments--Pride of the Coast and the Weinerschnitzel Big West--begin Saturday. Twenty-one teams will be featured in the tournaments.
Among intriguing first-round matchups in the Pride of the Coast include Fountain Valley vs. Los Angeles Loyola and Santa Margarita vs. Newhall Hart. Prime Big West-opening showdowns include El Toro vs. Aliso Niguel and Lakewood vs. Marina.
On Friday, Orange visits top-ranked Canyon at 3 p.m. in a Century League game.
