ANGELS’ ALLEN WATSON (1-3, 5.98 ERA) VS. BREWERS’ JEFF D’AMICO (1-2, 5.29 ERA)
Anaheim Stadium, 7 p.m. Radio--KTZN (710)
* Update--Watson’s string of four consecutive solid starts came to an end Monday when he gave up six runs on seven hits in 5 2/3 innings against the Chicago White Sox. D’Amico gave up three homers and three doubles in his last start against Seattle, but he still came out the winner in a 9-8 victory over the Mariners. First baseman Darin Erstad was seven for 18 (.389) in the first four games of the homestand but said he’s still not fully recovered from a strained right hamstring, suffered on April 23. “I’m just not running like I can,” Erstad said. “It gets fatigued. Some days I feel real good, but some days it gets real tired. I just have to be patient and realize it’s not going to come back overnight.”
