Your article on alliances between fast-food chains and children’s movies (by James Bates, May 11) neglected the one aspect that makes them morally reprehensible: These alliances use otherwise wholesome movies to teach kids to desire meals based on animal corpses.
Meat consumption is bad for human health, and its production is terrible for the environment and causes unspeakable suffering for millions of innocent animals. The wording of the title of the article, “Attack of the KILLER Tot Meals,” is gruesomely apt.
