A Slap in the Face to Santa Ana
What is behind Santa Ana’s mayor and Chamber of Commerce giving the state of the city address in Irvine and charging $25? (“Mayor’s Address on Santa Ana Is in Irvine,” May 7) How many residents of Santa Ana will be in attendance? Isn’t the object of the address to inform the residents of Santa Ana what is the state of their city?
It is my understanding that one of the objects of a chamber of commerce is to promote that city. The chamber indicates there is no place in Santa Ana large enough to accommodate that many people.
What a slap in the face to the image of Santa Ana, the restaurants, banquet halls, etc.
