Pacific Sunwear Stock Offered at $37 a Share

ANAHEIM — Pacific Sunwear of California Inc. said its offering of 840,000 common shares was priced at $37 a share. The apparel retailer said it expects the offering to generate proceeds of about $29 million for opening new stores and expanding or relocating some existing stores.
The stock fell $1.75 a share Wednesday to $36.50 on the Nasdaq market.
The offering is being underwritten by Robertson, Stephens & Co., Alex. Brown & Sons Inc. and Robinson-Humphrey Co.
