ZODIAC TONIGHT

Opponent--Nashville Metros

Site--Santa Ana Stadium

Time--7:30

Records--Zodiac 5-6; Metros 7-6.

Zodiac update--The Zodiac hopes to give its depleted defense a boost with the addition of three defenders, at least two of whom are expected to be on the roster tonight: Alfred Partida, who finished his college career at Cal State Fullerton last fall, and Tayt Ianni, who played with UCLA’s national championship team in 1990. Ianni was recently released from the San Jose Clash of the MLS. Michel N’Doumbe, who played for the Cameroon national team, has been training with the Zodiac. N’Doumbe is here on loan from his club team in Hungary and will be on the roster as soon as the Zodiac receives transfer papers.

Metro update--Nashville will be without three players--including defender Andrew Galloway and midfielder Shafiq Goelab--red carded in a victory over El Paso last Friday. But the Metros have borrowed two players from the MLS Kansas City Wizards--midfielders Brian Johnson and Damian Silvera. The Metros had a three-game winning streak ended with a 2-1 loss to Colorado Sunday.
