Residents of unincorporated Rancho Dominguez can attend a town hall meeting today to learn how sheriff’s deputies plan to address juvenile crime in the area southeast of Compton.
A recent neighborhood survey conducted by sheriff’s deputies, who are organizing the meeting, indicated that Rancho Dominguez residents want more done to reduce juvenile crime and theft, Sgt. Glyn Morgan said.
He said the meeting will be followed by an intensive 90-day community policing program focusing on issues identified in the survey.
A representative of county Supervisor Yvonne Brathwaite Burke said she plans to attend the 6:30 p.m. event at the Dominguez Hills Estates mobile home complex, 19009 Laurel Park Road. Information: (213) 526-5541.
