Red Cross Offers Child-Care Classes

Those who want to learn how to take care of and play safely with children can sign up for courses offered by the Ventura County chapter of the American Red Cross.
An eight-hour baby-sitting class for beginners will be held Dec. 20 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Young people will learn how to prevent accidents, act appropriately during emergencies and supervise little children at play.
Other classes will be held throughout December, including a class in Ventura Dec. 22 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 2355 Portola Road.
