DASH Bus Operations Expanded; 80 Stops Added

After one month of operation on a limited basis, local DASH bus service in El Sereno was expanded to full operation Monday with the announcement of new routes that have 80 stops in the Northeast Los Angeles neighborhood.
“The new DASH buses fill a tremendous void in transportation in El Sereno,” said Councilman Richard Alatorre, whose 14th council district includes the affected areas. “This is a widespread community with a sizable senior and disabled population that is largely transit dependent.”
The El Sereno DASH will operate seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
