Irvine Valley College will offer telecourses this fall for the first time.
Three courses--in anthropology, business and psychology--will be available to new and continuing students. Channel 33 on Cox Cable will carry the classes beginning Sept. 5, 6 and 8.
A community calendar of campus events and services will begin broadcasting on the channel before Aug. 25, the start of the fall semester, said George McCrory, public information officer for the campus.
Registration for fall telecourses, as well as regular classroom instruction, begins Monday for continuing students and Aug. 11 for new students.
Catalogs and course information are available on campus, 5500 Irvine Center Drive.
Information: (714) 451-5100.
