Lovieanne Jung has made an oral commitment to attend Fresno State to play softball, according to her mother, Gloria.

Jung, who played three seasons at Ocean View, is attending Fountain Valley this year. Jung, a first-team catcher at Ocean View, was recruited as a second baseman.

First-round playoff games in Division I, II and VI of Southern Section water polo are Thursday for Division I, and Friday for Divisions II and VI. The Southern Section gave The Times the wrong days on Monday.

St. Margaret’s football game scheduled for Saturday at Lucerne Valley has been changed. The game will be played at 5 p.m. Thursday.
